New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns had an unfortunate injury on Wednesday against the Denver Nuggets. Towns had a head-to-head collision with Nuggets forward Spencer Jones in the first quarter. The Knicks star fell to the floor and held his face. After that, he got up, and his right eye was bleeding. He stayed in the game to shoot his free throws before making his way back to the locker room.
After a period of absence, KAT made a comeback to the lineup. The Knicks star helped the team with 24 points and 12 rebounds on 69.2% shooting. With his help, New York outlasted Denver in a double overtime win, 134-127. The team also secured its eighth-straight win.

Karl-Anthony Towns’ bleeding eye was tough to look at. Fans revealed their thoughts on the Knicks star’s in-game injury.
“Yeah that didn’t look good,” a fan said.
“Kat leaving it all on the floor, gotta love it,” another fan commented.
“That collision? Pure grown-man basketball,” one fan said.
“damn, that’s gotta hurt! hope he’s good for the next one!” someone commented.
“That’s the only way KAT will get a call if the refs see blood 😳” a comment read.
“That hit was nasty no surprise he was bleeding,” one fan commented.
Karl-Anthony Towns comments on his battle against Nikola Jokic
Karl-Anthony Towns and Nikola Jokic battled against each other on Wednesday night. While Towns had a decent game scoring and rebounding the ball, Jokic’s triple-double of 30 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists separated him from the rest.
After the game, KAT commented on what it’s like to face the three-time MVP.
“You’re going up against one of the best bigs the game has seen. It’s really cool to see the development for both of us at this stage in our careers to still be competing against each other at a high level,” Towns said.
