A team physically are in trouble in case their star underperforms. That’s not what happened to the New York Knicks despite their star big man Karl-Anthony Towns scoring only two points and taking just five shots in win over the Miami Heat.

KAT is not exactly giving himself a hard time with this type of performance. Instead, he is looking at the brighter side. He believes that this experience will help them when the games that matter come.
“This is awesome to be able to win a game like this,” Towns told reporters after the game.
“I feel what’s great about our team is that we’re showing how we got so many different ways to win, and I think that’s going to prove well for us in the playoffs.”

Karl-Anthony Towns praises Jalen Brunson
Jalen Brunson stepped up big time in the absence of KAT’s aggressiveness in offense, scoring 47 points on 57.7 percent shooting.
Brunson is among the reasons why Knicks still managed to get the hard win but for Towns, he thought it was just another day in the office for his teammate.
“He’s a special player, I think we all know that. It doesn’t surprise you when he has nights like that,” he said about his teammates’ heroics.

Mikal Bridges also helped in the win, going 6 out of 7 from the three to finish with 24 points. OG Anunoby, who Mike Brown declared their Defensive Player of the Game, had 18 points and provided the crucial defensive stops at the end of the game.
