Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers had a 126-89 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday. The NBA star led the team with his 28 points and five rebounds in the game. The Clippers are on a 15-3 stretch over the last 18 games, after a sluggish start to the 2025-26 NBA season. After the competition, Leonard was shown a fan’s post.

Ahead of the Clippers’ game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Dec. 20, a fan trolled the team on X. Another fan of the franchise claimed that the team will go 15-3. However, the fan with the user handle @RichHomieFlom, didn’t believe the LA team had what it takes to have that stretch. He claimed that he would print out the post and eat it if that came true.

On Sunday, however, the Clippers completed the 15-3 stretch, and it was mentioned to Leonard.

Leonard said he wasn’t aware of that post from the fan. But he laughed at it and said this:

“He better try to see if he can eat something else. I don’t know how healthy that is.”

The Clippers, led by Kawhi Leonard, have steadily moved up the Western Conference standings. They are now 10th with a 21-24 record. With just six victories in their first 27 games, the team has completely turned things around.

How has Kawhi Leonard performed during the Clippers’ 14-3 stretch?

Kawhi Leonard has been a significant factor in the team’s recent success. During the team’s 14-3 stretch, the two-time champion has appeared in 14 games, averaging 32.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals. The star forward has been one of the most efficient scorers on the team, making 50.5% of his shots from the field and 43.9% from downtown.

Leonard has been on a scoring tear as of late. He had one 50-point game, two 40-point games, four 30-point games and seven games with at least 20 points. The Clippers look to continue their strong play on Tuesday, against the Utah Jazz.
