Kawhi Leonard missed three straight games for the Los Angeles Clippers but when he returned on rivals week to play the Los Angeles Lakers, he’s just as a aggressive just the like the games before he had to sit out. He scored 24 points on 19 shot attempts.

He’s been taking a lot of shots lately, especially from beyond the arc. Before he was made unavailable due to knee injury management, he made 11 three point attempts.
This development, he said, is something he personally want to improve to evolve his game. His coach Ty Lue was skeptical at first but they are now seeing the results. He credits assistant coach Jeremy Castleberry for helping him.
“We discussed the evolution of my game, try to get 12 3s a game. I give credit to coach Castleberry. We’ve been working on it,” he told reporters after the win over Lakers.
“When I told T-Lue that I’m gonna shoot 12 threes, he said ‘How?’ It was probably about December, I was like ‘You gon see.’”

Leonard, who is having an MVP season, is yet to have a game with 12 3PAs but results are there for them anyway.
Kawhi Leonard says shooting more is their game changer
The Clippers were atrocious to start the season and things only got better for them late December. They are now inside the Play-in spot after a relatively successful January.
Leonard thinks it is their decision to look for more shots that changed things for them.
“That’s the process. Like I said, we keep shooting. See if they fall, we’ll eventually get better,” he said.
“We were in a hole, we weren’t making threes early. I just try to see what we needed. I thought that’s what w needed [more 3 point attempts]. . . Encourage the guys to shoot even if they don’t go in.”

Kawhi missed three games but that might extend as recent reports have him questionable for the game against the Brooklyn Nets.
