Kelsey Plum had a few playful jabs for Aliyah Boston after Phantom BC rolled past Lunar Owls BC, 94–60, on Saturday at Miami’s Sephora Arena.
When asked about teaming with Boston in the Unrivaled 3×3 league, Kelsey Plum didn’t hold back.
“I mean, I’ve been complaining about moving screens all year, and here we are,” she said.

Boston responded with a tight smile and a gentle correction: “It’s not moving screens. Let’s start there.”

The brief exchange quickly circulated online, as fans laughed at Kelsey Plum’s knack for teasing a teammate while keeping things lighthearted.
This isn’t the first time Plum’s candid remarks have made an Indiana Fever star squirm. During last season’s WNBA All‑Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, she drew attention by claiming that no one from Team Clark had been present when players discussed wearing protest shirts reading, “Pay Us What You Owe Us.”
The comment sparked conversation and highlighted Plum’s ability to speak her mind, whether fans loved it or rolled their eyes.
Kelsey Plum explodes for Phantom BC
Once the game tipped off, Plum erased any off-court chatter. She poured in 38 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out 11 assists on 16-for-22 shooting, powering Phantom BC to its first win of the 2026 Unrivaled season.

Boston was right there with Kelsey Plum as she put up 21 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, plus two steals and three blocks. The duo built an early cushion and never let Lunar Owls back in.
The victory served as a response after Phantom BC’s opening-day loss to Breeze BC, the expansion squad led by Paige Bueckers.
Looking ahead, Phantom BC will face Mist BC, currently undefeated at 2–0, which promises to be a sterner test.
If Plum and Boston keep producing at this level, Phantom BC could quickly rise to the top of the league standings.
