    Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum offered advice through social media to former Arizona star Jada Williams as she moved to Iowa through the transfer portal.

    In a post on Instagram, Jada Williams launched the new chapter of her career as she committed to Iowa Stae Univdersity from Arizona through the transfer portal. LA Sparks star Kelsey plum went to the comemtns section to give her advice to the young player.

    “Just shoot a better percentage from three, that’s all I care about,” Plum commented.

    Kelsey Plum is widely recognized for her exceptional three-point shooting ability. She has consistently ranked among the top three-point shooters in the WNBA, known for her quick release, accuracy, and ability to create space for her shots. In the 2024 WNBA season, Plum made a significant impact by surpassing the 400-career three-pointers milestone, becoming the 5th-fastest player in league history to achieve this feat.

    Jada Williams, from the Arizona Wildcats, recently announced her decision to transfer to the Iowa State Cyclones. Williams, who averaged 12.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists during the 2024–2025 season, was a key player for Arizona, starting in 58 of her 64 appearances over two seasons.

    Kelsey Plum Honored to Join LA Sparks

    In a statement, the LA Sparks front office and Kelsey Plum talked about teh trade that brought the star to the team, something Plum said she is “honored” to have the opportunity.

    “Adding Kelsey signifies the start of a new era for our organization” said Sparks Governor and Managing Partner Eric Holoman. “She is an elite talent, a proven champion and an extraordinary person and leader. I can’t wait to see her impact on our organization on and off the court.”

    “Joining the Sparks is an incredible honor,” Plum said. “Growing up in Southern California, I watched this franchise set the standard for excellence, and now I’m blessed to be part of the Sparks’ championship legacy. The list of greats who have played here is legendary, and I’ll be doing everything I can to honor this history and add to it.

    “Over the years, I’ve learned what’s required to win championships, and I’m prepared to bring this mindset to this team and contribute to a winning culture.”

    For the 2024 WNBA season, Kelsey Plum played for the Las Vegas Aces and averaged 17.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 42.3% from the field, 36.8% from three-point range, and 86.6% from the free-throw line.
