WNBA veteran Kelsey Plum caught the early premier of ‘The Amateur’, starring Rami Malek and was all praise about the movie, which will officially release on Thursday as seen on her Instagram post.

Hosting the said early premier, Plum invited former WNBA star Angel McCoughtry, who shared in her IG post about her thoughts on the movie as well.
“@kelseyplum10 hosted the early premier of the Amateur movie! A must watch 🔥!!!” McCoughtry captioned.
‘The Amateur’ is an action spy thriller directed by James Hawes and stars Rami Malek as a CIA intelligence analyst.
Set to debut for the LA Sparks in the upcoming WNBA season, Plum will be playing her eighth year in the league after spending six seasons with the Las Vegas Aces. Being a two-time WNBA champion herself, she’ll be a huge asset to the Sparks’ roster as they try to improve their play after finishing last in the previous season.

LA Sparks star Kelsey Plum had a viral and humble moment with a man while waiting for her Uber on a Beverly Hills street. Seen on the clip was Plum having a light-hearted conversation with the man who approached her who may have noticed her celebrity status due to the number of people asking to take pictures with Plum.

At first, Plum denied she was famous, showing her humble side to the man, and even showed the man her Instagram account when asked. Only then did the man confirm how famous she is as they went on to bid each other goodbyes.

This interaction drew lovely comments from her fans who took their praises over the LA Sparks star to X.

Plum will be coming into the WNBA 2025 season after averaging 17.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game in the regular season while shooting 42.3% from the field, 36.8% of which from rainbow territory.
