Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns had one of the most unforgettable games on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks. It was a tough battle between the two but the Suns eventually triumphed with a 114-113 win. There were intense moments during the game as both teams were under pressure to win. One such intense moment of Durant yelling at this teammate was leaked on social media.
In the video, Durant’s teammate, Jusuf Nurkic is seen battling with Spencer Dinwiddie. Nurkic manages to get past Dinwiddie but loses control of the ball. Surprisingly, he gets another post-up chance while backing down his opponent. Nurkic is pushing his way through, but this time, he is up against Daniel Gafford.
Nurkic had the opportunity to pass the ball to his teammate Royce O’Neil for an easy three-point shot. However, he did not make the play and gave up the ball to the Mavs. Following this, Kevin Durant lashed out at his teammate for not making the play.

Durant was upset as the leaked video showed him yelling at Nurkic calling out his mistake.
“Hey! We’re a f**king team,” Durant told Nurkic. “Pass the f**king ball to Royce. He’s wide open. Then, you get frustrated and get a tech? Come on. Move past that s**t,” Durant said.

Durant was probably right to get mad at his teammate since it was crucial. Despite their struggles, the Suns prevailed and defeated their opponent.

Kevin Durant’s Injury Put The Suns In A Tough Position On The Road
Kevin Durant has suffered a left calf strain and is expected to be out for at least two weeks. The absence of Durant has already started to affect the Phoenix Suns as they dropped their last game against the Sacramento Kings with a final score of 127-118. The Suns will play the Utah Jazz and take on the Kings again while their journey on the road continues.
Durant’s injury came during their game against the Mavs. Durant helped the team embark on a seven-game winning streak. The Suns recorded a franchise-record 8-1 start, and it would not have been possible without Durant.
Durant’s injury has put the Suns in a challenging position, especially on their road games. Phoenix must focus on bringing in a suitable replacement for Durant in the next couple of weeks. Durant scores an average of 27.6 points per game with 6.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists.
