Kevin Hart had some “advice” for Jaylen Brown this week, but it landed closer to a roast than a heart-to-heart.
Brown has been a running joke online these past few weeks after his hair kept brushing up against opponents mid-game. First it was OG Anunoby, then Ron Holland, and most recently Wizards rookie Kyshawn George caught a dose of JB’s hairspray. Naturally, the memes flew, and Hart didn’t miss his chance to jump in when he visited Carmelo Anthony’s “7 PM in Brooklyn” podcast on Tuesday.

“When your body start talking to you, you gotta fking listen,” Hart said. “I know the hardest thing for a na to come to grips with is hair disappearing. Motherf**ers want to hold on to that.”
He kept going, turning the bit into a full-on PSA for the Celtics star.
“So Jaylen, these home away games, you know who in white. You can’t play a game stomach and chest adjacent. His game is pivots, his game is space. You rubbing that st on people’s uniforms all day… You gotta just say fk it, man. You gotta cut it off.”
Hart even circled back to himself, joking about being insecure over his feet for years, saying he eventually learned to tune out the noise. His message to Brown stayed the same:
“Cut your hair off Jaylen. Enough is enough.”

To Jaylen Brown’s credit, he’s taken the jokes in stride. The four-time All-Star even hopped on a live feed clowning other players’ hairlines, and later left LeBron James a voicemail asking for tips on how to style his own.
Kevin Hart compares mentoring Kai Cenat and Druski to being an NBA veteran
Kevin Hart also touched on his relationship with rising creators like Kai Cenat and Druski. With Carmelo asking why he makes it a point to work with the younger wave of comedians and streamers, Hart said it feels a lot like being a league vet watching the next generation arrive.

“I think it’s necessary,” Hart said. “I’m quite sure you can relate being a vet and looking at the game of basketball change and this younger generation of athletes come into the game.”
He added that comedy is shifting fast, and collaborations with guys like Kai and Druski help strengthen what they’re building. Hart compared it to his early years, when Eddie Murphy once pulled up to watch him perform before he ever broke out. He made it clear he’s not trying to compete with the younger creators — he just wants to support them and see them thrive.
