The joy is back at the Golden 1 Center is back and the Sacramento Kings got to finally light the bean once more as four players, led by Russell Westbrook and DeMar Derozan teamed up to pull of an overtime victory over the Houston Rockets.
Rockets came to the game hot after winning over the Denver Nuggets 24 hours before. Kings, meanwhile were 1-9 in their last 10 and have the worst record in the league at 6-22. They just climbed to 7-22 after relentless effort from Brodie and the rest of the squad.
The win revived the lively atmosphere at Golden 1.

Dennis Schroder, who scored 24 points off the bench, hit the game-winning three in the overtime period while it was Westbrook who forced the OT when he hit a 3 point shot in the corner right in the face of Rockets big man Alperen Sengun.

Russell Westbrook reacts to victory
Westbrook gave the fans something to celebrate and cheer for and he, too, was all smiles at the podium. He even had hilarious moments with reporters.
“It’s great, man. Not just how we did it but we got the win. All that really matters but now, we move forward,” he said.
As for the game-tying three, he credited the crowd for staying with them until the final buzzer.
