It’s one thing to comment about a player’s bad performance but it’s another when the player’s partner has to get dragged in basketball stuff. Klay Thompson of the Dallas Mavericks did not mince his words in calling out two former NBA players who he said disrespected his girlfriend and popular pop star Megan Thee Stallion.
Jason Williams and Patrick Beverley got together in the Hoopin Hollerin and among the topics they discussed was Klay who recently was relegated to a substitute amidst his scoring struggle while the Mavs’ inconsistency and controversies continue to hound them.
Instead of talking about what ails the four-time champs’ shooting, the pair decided to blame it on Stallion who has been with Klay since the summer of 2025.
“I’m from West Virginia, man,” said Williams.
“I’ve been taught a lot by some old folks, some old white folks. It only takes one p—y to drag a battleship across the desert. That’s how powerful it is.
“Klay Thompson, I ain’t saying that’s what it is,” Williams added. “But that might be what it is.”
Beverley, who play 12 seasons in the NBA, agreed with the take and even laughed.

The former Golden State Warriors star got wind of the comments against his girlfriend and commented on the very page where the video was originally posted.
He also tagged Beverley in the comment.’
“Referring to my GF as a ‘p****’ is so disgusting and disturbing,” Thompson commented on Instagram. “Especially from someone who played in the NBA . How would yall feel if I referred to your wives in such a way ? @patbev21”
It has been one full day and Beverley is yet to respond.
