The New York Knicks came to the Milwaukee Bucks game at the Fiserv Forum as the favorites and it looked like that in the first two quarters before they entered the locker room. New head coach Mike Brown should be pleased. They led by 12 points in the half after stifling defense matched by great ball movement.

However, the Bucks, led by star Giannis Antetokounmpo, were able to surpass their energy to get a 35-20 quarter victory. The Greek Freak finished with 37 points and did most of the damage in the third quarter and the last five minutes of the game.
Brown thought his team were not in the game the whole 48 minutes.
“We have to try to figure out how we can play within our staples on both ends of the floor for 48 minutes,” he told reporters.
“If we do, we have a chance to be a real good team. If we don’t, we can get beat by anybody”

Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with his 36 points but their other superstar Karl-Anthony Towns was not that effective, settling for just eight points on two out of 12 shooting. He also missed all his three tries from the deep.
Mike Brown wants KAT to be the starting point
KAT scored 19 and 26 in their two wins which were both against tough Eastern Conference opponents. He had 15 against the Heat which lead to a defeat.
Brown recently said that his offense system is still being tested and it is one where everyone will play fast-paced and everyone will be useful with the emphasis on ball movement. KAT played good in the first half but he made mistakes in the second.
The coach urged KAT to be more aggressive, even in plays that do not show in the statsheet.

Mike Brown lauded the effort of Karl-Anthony Towns in the first half tonight vs. Milwaukee:
“It all started with KAT. KAT played a remarkable first half offensively. Sometimes it doesn’t show up in your field goal attempts when you play a remarkable game. pic.twitter.com/MQnWindb9I
