New York Knicks and new coach Mike Brown made some of their fans feel uneasy a week into the season after some comments about their comfort level on the new offense style they are going to use. Josh Hart thought he is going to start from the bench.

Even Karl-Anthony Towns had their supporters asking if they are ready to contend because he himself is clueless about his own role.
Nineteeen games in, how are they doing now? Hart’s answer will makes fans cheer.
“We’re extremely comfortable,” when asked by a reporter about the state of their offense.
“We’re starting to make these reads, play off each other’s movements. We know where guys are going to be on the court.”
This statement by the shooting guard is backed up by numbers. They have won four straight and three of those were by double digits. Their latest one was against the Toronto Raptors who just last week was the hottest team in the league.

All five members of the starting five scored in double digits led by Towns who had 22 points. Hart himself had 20. These two, together with Mikal Bridges shot at least 50 percent on the field.

Josh Hart filled the statsheet
It was not just the offense that’s clicking for the Knicks. Even their defense led by Hart himself.
The 30-year-old veteran earned praises from Brown after the game for his tenacity and ability to affect the game on both ends.
“While trying to guard the basketball… to hold a group like this to 94 points speaks a lot about us defensively tonight,” Brown said after the game when asked about their defense and Hart.
“There were nine 50/50 balls and we came up with all nine… we have 25 offensive rebounds for 22 second-chance points.”

The coach admitted a few days ago that he made a mistake of benching Hart in crucial moments and now, he is enjoying what’s he’s getting from the guy.
“He just brings a level of physicality that is irreplaceable… reminds me of Davion Mitchell in terms of guarding the basketball,” he said.
The Knicks will have a one-day rest before going on a back to back with the Boston Celtics and the Charlotte Hornets.
