Josh Hart has a new banter partner in the New York Knicks squad besides Jalen Brunson as Jeremy Sochan, who joined them after the trade deadline, is already taking shots at him, especially his favorite soccer club.

Sochan joined the Knicks last week before the All-Star Weekend after three and a half seasons with the San Antonio Spurs. Hart was among the first to welcome him via X although there was something he was not happy about.
Hart is a Chelsea fan while Sochan bleeds red as a supporter of Arsenal in the English Premier League. The two exchanged ‘pleasantries’ about their favorite association football clubs.

Chelsea and Arsenal are two of the more popular teams in England and their rivalry is among the most intense in all of sports history. Fans can sometimes get into it.
Jeremy Sochan double down on trash talk
The 22-year-old is not done with the trash talk. When asked if he has relationship with any of his new teammates, he made sure to include a quip against Hart.
“I know Jordan Clarkson…he’s from San Antonio…The rest is just during games, talking [expletive]…OG’s from England too, Josh supports a [expletive] club Chelsea,” he said while smiling.

Turning serious, Sochan said he is ready to take on any role for the team.
Jeremy Sochan was asked what he expects his role to be on a deep Knicks roster:
“We’ve talked a lot, whatever opportunity I get. One of the reasons why I picked New York is again, it’s a very deep roster, a lot of really talented players.” pic.twitter.com/KDxGmMjKuS
