The Milwaukee Bucks are carrying an awful record, two games behind the play-in. The four-game road trip could have gotten them closer to it but they were contented into a 2-2 record. Kyle Kuzma thinks they could have gone 4-0.

They won over the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings and both were close games. They previously lost to the Golden State Warriors.
“Ah, 2-2 is just neutral at the end of the day, right?” he told reporters after their recent loss against the Denver Nuggets who basically played with their B-Team with Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Cameron Johnson, and Jonas Valanciunas all unavailable.
“I think we all have a little bitter taste in our mouth because if you ask anybody in this locker we probably believe we gave two games away, the Warriors game or tonight. It’s just clear, both of those games, not playing the right way, I think that just hits us in the butt all the time. We gotta learn our lesson eventually.”

Bucks lost to the Warriors, 113-120, despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 34 points and 10 rebounds. He had the same usual awesome performance against the Nuggets, finishing with 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists.
Kuzma himself had 11 points and 6 assists.
Kyle Kuzma on botched last minute possession
The Bucks still had the chance to win the game when they were down by just 3 points in the last 59 seconds. That’s still plenty of possession for them.
However, instead of going for a calm 2 points, they chased a 3 point shot and got none after multiple tries. Instead, the possession went back to the Nuggets and they had to foul. Aaron Gordon made both free throws.

Kuzma has the best description for that moment.
“It wasn’t the right game management,” he said.
The Bucks are now 17-22 and 1.5 games behind Chicago Bulls. They will regroup as they welcome the Minnesota Timberwolves and then visit the San Antonio Spurs.
