Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma expressed his support for Donald Trump before and he probably had a star struck moment when he met the US President and noticed his presence during the US Open in New York over the weekend.

Stars came out at the recently concluded U.S. Open in New York which was capped off by a finals battle between Carlo Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. The latter came out on top to win the Men’s Singles.

Although the battle will go down as one of the most intense in recent history, some huge personalities also got the attention. Trump’s presence was too hard to ignore for some that he got booed by the members of the audience when showed on screen.

Kuzma, who isn’t that popular among Bucks fans lately, has a different reaction and he immediately posted about it on his Instagram story.

    Kyle Kuzma’s political opinion

There’s no recorded face to face encounter between Trump and Kuzma but the latter trended on X last year when he threw support for the Republic president. He appears to have deleted the post already.

He immediately received backlash for the post from both Democrats and Republicans. Those from the latter thought he can’t switch sides after castigating trump when he was younger.

I remember when you wanted to move to Toronto because you thought there was a chance Trump could be President. What happened since?

He defended himself saying he was too young back then.

“Brother I was like 20 years old lol what happened since is I stopped following what everyone says is right and made my own observations right or wrong… but that’s objective.”

His stance, however, clashed with that of other NBA players and former Lakers teammate Lebron James who is one of the most vocal critics of Trump.
