2025 was the legendary trade deadline for the Los Angeles Lakers.  For years to come, Luka Doncic’s trade will be discussed.  In addition to setting up their organization for the future, the Lakers successfully put themselves in a championship window.

Los Angeles has once again contributed to that future, and fans are excited.

The team needed a center who could defend and rebound before and after trading for superstar Luka Doncic, 25. According to reports, they agreed to a trade on Wednesday evening that will provide them with a center who fits this description.

Shams Charania of ESPN reports they will acquire 23-year-old Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets for rookie sharpshooter Dalton Knecht, forward Cam Reddish and an unprotected 2030 first-round pick swap.
