LeBron James did his iconic celebratory “silencer” after making back-to-back three-pointers to seal the Los Angeles Lakers’ 104-99 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. While happy over the victory, it seemed like his son Bronny James made his night even better as he saw Junior mimicking his celebratory gesture.
The four-time NBA champion posted an Instagram story on Sunday, sharing a clip from the “House of Highlights” account. The video saw Bronny doing his father’s signature silencer as the Lakers players were walking to the bench.
“The best feeling in the world being [is] alongside him like this!” captioned an ecstatic King James.

Bronny James is splitting his time between the LA Lakers and its G-League counterpart, the South Bay Lakers, with him only playing the team’s home games and not joining them on the road. He spends the remainder of his time training with the main Lakers team, though he still doesn’t get much time on the hardwood.

LeBron James hinting at potential end of his career
At 39 years old and turning 40 in a few weeks’ time, LeBron James still plays as if he’s at the prime of his basketball career. Given his physical condition, one might think that he will stay active in the NBA for four or five more years, but James himself doesn’t see things that way.
The 20-time NBA All-Star spoke to reporters after their game against the Memphis Grizzlies on November 14 that he might play just one or two more years in the league. He also said that he will not “disrespect the game” by just warming up the bench when it’s time for him to hang it up.
“It’s not me, it’s the mind,” James said. “Wherever my mind is is how the rest of my body’s gonna go or whatever the case may be. I don’t know, I’m not gonna play that much longer to be completely honest. I don’t know how many years that is, if it’s one year, two years, whatever the case may be.”
LeBron added, “But I said the other night that I’m not playing until the wheels fall off. I’m not gonna be that guy. I’m not gonna be the guy that’s disrespecting the game because I want to be out there on the floor. That’s not gonna be me.”
“I’m not gonna play that much longer, to be completely honest … I’m not playing til’ the wheels fall off.”
