‘Pretending To Living A Struggle”: LeBron James Tagged As ‘Hypoctitical’ Endorsing Kamala Harris By Right-Leaning Political Analysts

As Donald Trump wins the 2024 Presidential Election over Kamala Harris, right-wing political analysts point out LeBron James and some celebrity endorsers as having inefficient influence, swinging voters to put the Democratic Party candidate in the highest government office in the USA.

Along with the four-time NBA champion, other celebrities like Beyonce and Taylor Swift are also cited to have pushed hard to endorse Kamala Harris but were not effective enough to prevent Donald Trump in becoming the 47th president of the United States of America.

According to political analyst Candice Owens, who aired at Piers Morgan Uncensored, LeBron James was not able to swing voters because he does not represent the true lifestyle of the demographic that he is expected to influence, the African-American community.

“LeBron James, just because he is black, is not living the black experience of somebody who might be living on the southside of Chicago. It is actually insulting when LeBron James posts something and saw this in the comments by the way, if we could use any metric, it was the fact that LeBron James had to start hiding comments because of the overwhelming majority of them were negative when he made a post that was very propagandist.

Owens goes on and stressed that a Billionaire that LeBron James who is also a well-connected person is not in position to tell his followers worrying about the future of his children now that Donald Trump is back as US President.

“It was offensive– offensive level of propaganda. You have a man who lives in a $100 million Bel Air Mansion, he does not touch his own door handles, so when he tells you he’s worried about the future for his children” said Owens.

“LeBron James is pretending he is living a struggle,” she adds later on in the interview.

LeBron James used nepotism by putting Bronny James on a Lakers jersey

Candice Owens sees LeBron James’s concern for the safety of his children under the new Donald Trump administration as hypocritical. She then cites that the former NBA MVP is so well-connected that he need not worry about his children since he was able to influence the Los Angeles Lakers to draft him.

For Owens, this idea of playing LeBron and Bronny together with the Lakers is a power move that the basketball organization agreed upon due to the marketing awareness it will create.

“This man is so wealthy and so connected that his son who quite literally is not qualified in terms of his actual metrics to be playing for the Lakers but because of good old fashioned nepotism,” said Owens. “He is playing for the Lakers besides his father, because they thought good advertisement– a father and a son playing.”
