Lebron James was the most silent through the period when his Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick openly expressed his frustration about his players but on Monday night when actions were needed to speak, he had the loudest response.

The four-time champion scored 24 points in the much needed win over the Sacramento Kings. According to StatWilliams, that was the most efficient game ever wearing the Purple and Gold.
Per @StatsWilliams: LeBron James’ 84.6% shooting percentage tonight (11-for-13 from the field) is his best single game field goal percentage as a Laker, and the third best FG percentage in any game of his 23-year career.

James was efficient and he did it by producing great highlight plays reminiscent of the years when was still with the Cleveland Cavaliers or Miami Heat.

The win ended the Lakers’ three-game losing streak that earned the ire of their coach three days ago. He said the players are not making a choice to commit to their system despite having the right preparations.
Lebron James’ message to father time
Father time has been on James’ tail since a decade ago. Some critics think the four-time MVP was on the decline after losing two straight against the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018 seasons.
He did a commercial about father time in 2021 and he went back to it after the win over the Kings. It took him 30 games but King James is calling it now using a gold reference.
“When I did the father time commercial thing. . . in 2021. . I’m in a battle with him and I would like to say that I’m kicking his ass on the back nine.”
