Los Angeles Lakers veteran LeBron James’ wife, Savannah James, recently celebrated her 39th birthday, and she had a peculiar way of marking the milestone.

In a story on Instagram, Savannah James, wife of Lakers superstar LeBron James, revealed that she got a neck tattoo as a part of her 39th birthday celebration. However, it seems that Savannah is not planning to make the number 39 the last age tattoo she would get, as she joked on getting a new one for every birthday moving forward.

“Why I think I gotta get a tattoo or piercing every birthday,” Savannah wrote on her Instagram Story.

Since their days at St. Vincent–St. Mary in Akron, Savannah has been LeBron James‘s life partner. She has supported him in his promising career since being a draft pick, up to his now decorated NBA career.

From LeBron’s career as a basketball player to his personal life, Savannah has often been credited to be one of his pillars, which earned her the title from the fans as the “First Lady of the NBA.”

LeBron James Gives His Picks on NFL, Super Bowl, MVP

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, though known for his basketball savvy, recently weighed in on the NFL’s outlook. Speaking with DraftKings, James tapped his hometown Cleveland Browns as his sleeper squad and projected a Super Bowl rematch pitting the Philadelphia Eagles against the Kansas City Chiefs.

“Super Bowl prediction? I’m going Eagles-Chiefs again, man,” James said. “I mean, you got the best two teams, you got the best player in the NFL and Pat Mahomes, and I think he wants some get back, so I got Eagles-Chiefs.”

The Eagles secured the Super Bowl championship last season against Mahomes and the Chiefs in a decisive victory. The Chiefs aspire to re-establish their dynasty and claim the sport’s ultimate trophy for the fourth time in seven seasons this winter.

He also gave his bold take on who would be the MVP of the 2025 regular season.

“My MVP of the year; this year I’m taking Lamar Jackson,” he added.

In the 2024 season, Jackson, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, had a career high 4,172 passing yards and 41 touchdown passes. He led the NFL in passer rating, QBR, and yards gained per passing attempt. He was very close to winning his third MVP award which was given to Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.

LeBron James’s love of football isn’t a new thing. He was a wide receiver at St. Vincent–St. Mary in Akron, Ohio. The young James also received recruiting interest from then–Notre Dame assistant Urban Meyer. He said that background explained his lasting appreciation for football and his some of his outlandish predictions.
