Lexie Hull and Aliyah Boston were among the Fever players who jumped into the comments after Kelsey Mitchell shared a new Instagram dump from her offseason. Mitchell has been stacking up wins off the court lately, and a lot of people around the league feel like she’s in a really good place heading into year 30.
The post had a little bit of everything — clips from her 30th birthday on November 12, moments from her annual youth camp, and shots with friends and family. She summed it up with the line:
“Life is about choices. Here’s to hoping I keep making the right ones with the right people for the right reasons. 30 ball,” Mitchell wrote.

Teammates, former teammates, and WNBA friends all showed up in her comments. Hull and Boston were there early, followed by Chloe Bibby, Damiris Dantas, Olivia Nelson-Ododa, Lexie Brown, and Victoria Vivians. Mitchell is set to hit free agency, but the Fever won’t be able to move until the new CBA gets finalized.

Lexie Hull’s hilarious back-and-forth with Caitlin Clark
Hull wasn’t just hyping up Mitchell. She also circled back to one of Caitlin Clark’s earlier jokes — a small moment that fans didn’t forget.

Back when Sophie Cunningham posted photos from the Fever’s media day, Clark slid into the comments to mess around: “A little less tanning. A little more bball, ladies.”
Hull didn’t respond at the time, but she got her revenge later. In a chat with People Magazine at the Glamour Women of the Year event, she finally let the joke fly.
“She could probably use a little sun herself,” Hull said.
The two weren’t actually taking shots at each other. Hull made that clear. “She’s one of my best friends on the team,” she said. “and it’s been amazing growing together and chasing the same goals.”
