Lexie Hull and the Indiana Fever are in prep mode for their upcoming battles with the Minnesota Lynx. With a rare four-day break on the calendar, the team has time to sharpen its play — but Hull is proving her impact stretches well beyond the hardwood.
Earlier this week, Hull and assistant coach Briann January teamed up with the Fever to present a $10,000 check to the St. Vincent Foundation in Indianapolis. The donation goes directly toward supporting breast cancer awareness and screenings.

For Hull’s mom, Jamie, the cause hits close to home.
“This hits home. My mom, @lexiehulll’s Nana, had breast cancer detected by a routine mammogram. No lumps or any signs it existed. Get your mammogram’s ladies. It could save your life!” she wrote.
According to the Fever’s social media page, “1 in 8 women will have breast cancer in their live.” BreastCancer.org has also reported that cases continue to rise despite improvements in early detection and treatment.
Jamie encouraged women to take advantage of the resources available at St. Vincent, noting how vital those tests can be.
“Supporters > Haters”: Lexie Hull’s Mom Defends Her During Shooting Slump
While Lexie Hull shines off the court, her on-court journey has been tested. After a standout 2024 season where she averaged 5.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and shot a blistering 47.1% from deep, expectations soared entering 2025.
But shooting struggles have crept in. From hitting 41.7% earlier this season, her three-point accuracy plummeted to just 24.2% since August. Her rough night against the Phoenix Mercury on August 7 — when she failed to connect from three — drew concern from fans.

Her mom quickly stepped in with an emotional response to a supportive X post.
“This post brought tears to my eyes. Nobody will ever understand how hard Lexie is on her mom I wish I could fix it. I can’t. This is something she has to do on her own. Thanks to every single one of you that support her! Supporters>Haters,” Jamie wrote.
Hull wasted no time quieting the noise. Just two nights later, she bounced back with 17 points against the Chicago Sky, knocking down 5 of 7 shots, including 4 of 6 from three.
