Travis Hunter’s wife, Leanna Lenee, had Angel Reese gushing on Instagram after dropping tropical beach shots. Lenee was pictured chilling by the sand in a black crop top and shorts.

“Hi gorgeous 😍,” Reese wrote under the post.

Leanna has been dealing with plenty of online hate lately, but Reese made sure to show support. Lenee didn’t miss a beat, replying: “@angelreese5 my baaaaby😍.”

Meanwhile, Angel Reese is working her way back on the court. She already missed seven games this August with a back issue, but returned Tuesday against the Seattle Storm.

Through 26 outings for the Chicago Sky, the rookie is averaging 14.5 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, shooting 46.4% from the floor. The Sky may be struggling, but Reese’s game has leveled up — she’s finishing stronger inside and remains one of the league’s best rebounders.

Angel Reese and the Sky Bounced From Playoff Race

Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky’s postseason hopes are gone. The LA Sparks beat the Dallas Wings on Wednesday to climb to 17-18, officially shutting the door on Chicago. At 9-27, the Sky sit 12th overall, 20.5 games off the top seed.

It means another trip to the draft lottery, the second straight since picking Reese. The LSU star was supposed to boost playoff chances, but lack of chemistry and the learning curve for first-year head coach Tyler Marsh proved too much.

Chicago also gave up its 2026 first-rounder in a trade with Minnesota, which could sting in the lottery.

Still, there’s room to regroup. Marsh has leaned on his championship background from the Aces’ staff, and much of this roster could return next season. With Reese growing fast, the Sky at least have a foundation.
