Caitlin Clark has become a regular at Butler home games in recent months because her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, is an assistant coach there, and her presence drew notice given her limited 2025 season due to muscle injuries.
Dosier, who the Fever announced recently as a new hire, was identified in the crowd alongside Clark; the former NBA and G League staffer is expected to work with fellow development coach Keith Porter on managing Clark’s recovery and reducing future injury risk.
Dosier’s resume includes time with the Washington Wizards organization and experience around high‑level players through trainer Drew Hanlen, a background the Fever cited when making the hire.
Caitlin Clark Touches on Her Perspective of Fame and Popularity
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark reflected on her rapid ascent from college standout to global sensation, informing an audience at Becker’s Healthcare CEO + CFO Roundtable that she regularly takes time to appreciate her good fortune and maintain her composure amidst the attention.

Clark described the emotional uplift of performing for sold-out crowds and the inspiration she derives from young fans cheering her on, characterizing those moments as “very humbling” and fundamental to her competitive drive.
“There’s really nothing like walking out in front of a sold out crowd,” Clark said. “Young boys and young girls cheering for you. That’s just a very humbling feeling. At the end of the day, that’s why you do it, because you love it. You love to compete. And yeah, you want to continue to get better at it.”

Clark made a public appearance in mid-July while recovering from a groin injury that prevented her from playing the latter half of the 2025 season. This was one of her few public appearances since the season ended in September.
This also happened in the midst of widespread anxiety around the league, as the WNBA and its players are still working towards a new collective bargaining agreement and there is still the worry of a lockout until that is resolved.
Caitlin Clark has, for the most part, had a number of non-basketball offseason activities, including playing golf once again.
