Caitlin Clark seems to have gotten into the Christmas spirit a little early this year and managed to surprise her boyfriend’s team with her Nike Kobe PE shoes. Connor McCaffery and his Butler Bulldogs were all gifted Clark’s player-exclusive shoes and a video shared by the team has gone viral for all the good reasons.

McCaffery and Butler seem to be doing a lot better this season when compared to the former one. The Bulldogs have managed to secure the second spot in the Big East and are strongly poised to make it to the postseason.

“Ultimate shoe plug @caitlinclark22 Christmas came early in Hinkle (dog emoji, santa emoji)” Butler’s official Instagram page wrote, sharing a video of the players wearing their new pair of shoes, to which Clark responded with a dog emoji and a blue heart.

Caitlin Clark also got some love from Connor’s younger brother, Patrick, who joined the team last year. Clark’s latest show of generosity for her man’s team comes from reports that she is easily one of the biggest money-making athletes this year. Unfortunately, most of that money comes from her various endorsements and collaborations.

Clark’s net worth has hardly come from her earnings in the W, for which the league itself has been heavily criticized by fans. Clark and the entire WNBPA have been fighting with the W to get higher salaries and revenue sharing and the negotiations are still going on.

Caitlin Clark’s Popularity In WNBA Hyped By Adam Silver

Caitlin Clark is easily one of the most popular players in the W today, and in fact has contributed to the league’s popularity in turn. While many seem to have differing opinions on this, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver seems to have the same sentiments. Silver was asked about this in the recent Pacers vs. Nuggets game, where the man could not stop applauding Clark for the attraction she brings to women’s basketball in the country.

“To see the popularity of Caitlin, to see the Fever exploding in popularity – not just here in Indianapolis, Indiana, but globally – it’s remarkable”, Adam Silver said.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver (on FDSNI): “To see the popularity of Caitlin (Clark), to see the Fever exploding in popularity — not just here in Indianapolis, Indiana, but globally — it’s remarkable.”

This is definitely true and one of the factors that fans keep bringing up for the league to consider. While Clark and many other players, including Angel Reese, Cameron Brink, Napheesa Collier, Aliyah Boston, Paige Bueckers and several more, have brought plenty of popularity to the W, they have hardly seen the money they deserve on paper.
