LOOK: Michael Jordan’s Son Marcus Jordan Sparks Buzz as He Links Up With New IG Model Without Drinking

Marcus Jordan — yes, that Michael Jordan’s son — is grabbing attention again, and this time it’s not about a car stuck on train tracks or legal trouble. He’s been posting photos with a new Instagram model, and he says he’s doing it sober.

According to Sportskeeda, Marcus shared a beach photo of the model with username nur.sefaxo, lounging in swimwear, tagging her in his posts. He also posted clips from gatherings and outings, but specified: “No drinks for me.”

It’s a dramatic turnaround after a chaotic stretch earlier this year. In February, Marcus was arrested for DUI, ketamine possession, and resisting arrest. Since then, he’s been talking publicly about staying sober and focusing on rebuilding. Rolling Out reported he reached 100+ days sober and used the celebrity deaths of Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne as a wake-up call.

Linking up with this new IG model is being viewed by fans and gossip columns as a kind of symbolic fresh start. The “no drinking” line underscores a change in tone. Marcus is positioning himself as someone trying to get his life back on track — while still living in the public spotlight.

Still, with the name Jordan attached, everything he does gets extra scrutiny. Some will celebrate the turnaround, others will wait for the next stumble. Either way, Michael Jordan’s legacy continues to echo in whatever his kids do — good, bad, or glam with an IG model.

Marcus Reconnects With Dad Michael Jordan After Deaths of Two Legends

Marcus Jordan recently shared a candid reflection: hearing about the deaths of Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne pushed him to reach out to his family — including his father, Michael Jordan. TMZ Sports quoted him saying:

“Went thru it yesterday, realizing that 2 icons of my childhood passed this week,”

“Reached out to both my parents & my siblings cuz life is short and it’s important to spend time with the people you love.”

It wasn’t just a message for the cameras. Marcus admitted that the losses hit him hard and nearly triggered a relapse, admitting he’d “almost had a drink.” But he held on, saying what matters most is who you have in your corner.

Sources say he hadn’t been publicly close to Michael Jordan in months. TMZ noted that the Ice-cool relationship had been distant — he and Michael were last seen together publicly during the 2024 Super Bowl. Now, Marcus’s post suggests a quiet shift toward healing and reconnection.

This moment spotlights how even those born into legendary families go through normal emotional crises. For Marcus, reconnecting with Michael Jordan is more than a PR move — it’s personal. Whether this marks a lasting change or a brief truce, it puts him back on the radar not just as Jordan’s son, but as a person wrestling with loss, legacy, and family.
