Bradley Beal sent a clear message of the reason behind joining the Los Angeles Clippers this offseason, and that is to win the first Larry O’Brien trophy of his NBA career.

“I need a ring,” Bradley said via KMOV’s Tamar Sher. “I want one bad and I feel like I have a new life of rejuvenation, for sure — a new hunger. Excited about the opportunity. New city. New environment, but a hungry environment, too. I’m definitely excited about the opportunity to go win.”

After acquiring Beal, the Los Angeles Clippers also reunited with Chris Paul. With Paul wearing No. 3, Beal will start wearing the No. 0 next season.

“Chris is lucky we have a previous relationship outside of basketball,” Beal quipped about Paul. “We’re good. I actually played and grew up in his camps, too. So, it was kind of like a big bro thing. I had a choice, but I didn’t really have a choice. It was out of respect. But it was a no-brainer for me. You don’t know if it’s his last year. You don’t speak on that.”

Los Angeles Clippers Rumors: One-time NBA champion interested in joining the team

ClutchPoints’ Brett Siegel recently claimed that Kevin Love is keen on joining the Los Angeles Clippers this offseason, pending a buyout from the Utah Jazz.

“Word around the league surrounding Love is that he wants to end up in Los Angeles, sources said. There were some rumors that Love would want to go to New York, although there doesn’t seem to be much interest brewing from the Knicks. Both the Clippers and Lakers still have one open roster spot,” Siegel wrote.

“Both the Clippers and Lakers still have one open roster spot. But if the Lakers were to pursue Love and reunite him with LeBron, they would need to move off another contract since they are hard-capped at the first apron and just $1.1 million from this mark. When looking at the Clippers, they are basically in the same situation, as they are $1.2 million from their first apron hard cap,” he added.
