Despite the fact that Russell Westbrook opted into the final year of his current deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, it is clear that the nine-time All-Star’s future remains to be elsewhere.
True enough, the Clippers have reportedly now placed Westbrook on the trade block as they look to find a deal that will see them offload the 35-year-old and the $4 million he is owed this coming season.

According to NBA guru Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Clippers are discussing a potential Westbrook deal with multiple teams:
“The Clippers are actively working on trades to move Russell Westbrook, sources say,” Shams reported on X, formerly Twitter.

It does not sound like Westbrook’s future in the league will be in limbo for much longer. This is after the Denver Nuggets were identified as a potential landing spot for the two-time NBA scoring champ:
“There appears to be strong mutual interest between the Nuggets and Russell Westbrook,” Fischer reported on X.
