There are plenty of narratives surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers, but only a few have captured the attention of the casual NBA fan better than LeBron James playing with his son for the first time.
Once the Lakers open the season against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the league will have its first peek into how Bronny James would fare playing with his father who has been in the league for two decades. While there are still questions of nepotism being thrown around, everyone will still be intrigued to see how James Jr. would fare playing alongside his father.

With all the buzz and expectations surrounding the Lakers for the coming season, one can only imagine the pressure resting on Bronny’s shoulders. However, his father has one wish for his son as he prepares to start his NBA journey.
LeBron James wishes for son Bronny to get his own Call of Duty skin as the Los Angeles Lakers gear up for the season

LeBron is already pushing 40, but he’s very much involved in his children’s lives. The fact that he wants his son to get a skin in Call of Duty is a testament to his familiarity with his son’s interests outside of basketball.
He went to Twitter/X to make his request public, per Sport Bible’s Ryan Baldi:
“Bronny just said he want his own “Skin”. @Activision @CallofDuty talk to me,” the former Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat icon wrote.
Having a “skin” in Call of Duty – i.e. a virtual reproduction of your likeness as a character in the game – is nothing new for sporing figures.
Soccer superstars Messi and Neymar have featured in past editions of the COD series, while NBA players including four-time scoring champion Kevin Durant have had “skins” created for them.
It’s hard to imagine a player like Bronny getting this kind of treatment if you look at things from a purely basketball perspective. Plenty of players deserve to have their skin in such a game ahead of an unproven rookie, and many will argue that King James’ influence would be the primary reason behind him getting any skin.
