Luka Doncic plans to appeal the technical foul he received during the Los Angeles Lakers’ 115-107 road win against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday for complaining to officials in the first half.
With 13 technicals under his belt, Doncic is three away from an automatic one-game suspension. During a postgame interview, the Los Angeles Lakers star stood his ground on not deserving the infraction.
“I mean, I will try and get that one back because the only thing I said was I got hit in the arm twice, so, yeah,” Doncic said via ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
Doncic spearheaded the Los Angeles Lakers’ comeback by contributing 38 points, 13 points, 10 assists, and two steals on 12-for-21 shooting from the field and 11-for-12 shooting from the free throw line in 36 minutes. He surpassed Jerry West’s 1969 mark (six) for most 35-10-5 games in a single season in franchise history.
