Los Angeles Lakers news: Boston Celtics superstar found himself in another controversial situation after he was caught on video taking a dig at Bronny James. In the now-viral clip, the reigning NBA Finals MVP stated that he did not think Bronny was a pro and that he’s only on the Lakers because of his name.
Bronny’s agent and LeBron James’ BFF, Rich Paul, has now spoken out about this hot issue, and perhaps a bit surprisingly, he’s come out to defend the embattled Celtics forward.

Speaking on a recent appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, Paul shared his honest thoughts on Brown’s comments about Bronny. According to the Klutch Sports founder and CEO, he respects Brown’s opinion.
“They have opinions. They can say what they wanna say. At least he is someone who is actually in the league,” Paul said. “… If he has that opinion, he can have that opinion. But I know Jaylen. I know he doesn’t mean that… He’s just having a conversation.”

Paul made it abundantly clear that he has no ill will against Brown whatsoever. He also believes that the Celtics star was merely having a casual conversation and that he had no intention of dissing the Lakers rookie.
Not everyone sees it that way, though.
