The Los Angeles Lakers had a 129-118 win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday at the United Center. It was the Lakers’ fourth contest of their eight-game road trip. Star guard Luka Doncic did most of the work with his 46-point outing. The star added seven rebounds and 11 assists on 8-for-14 shooting from downtown.
Doncic had help from his teammates. LeBron James, his co-star, had 24 points against the Bulls. He also secured five rebounds and dished out three assists. Forward Rui Hachimura had one of the best games of his career, shooting the ball from deep. He had 23 points on 4-for -5 shooting from deep.
It was an outstanding follow-up game from Hachimura, who had 17 points on 4-for-7 shooting against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.

After the contest, he was asked about how special it is for him to play in Chicago. The question was in Spanish, and Luka Doncic answered in the same language. He paid respect to six-time champion Michael Jordan.
“Yes of course it’s always special to play here because we know who played here (Michael Jordan) the many championships they’ve won together so it’s always special to play here,” Doncic said.
In his career, Doncic has an 8-6 record against the Bulls. The six-time All-Star has averaged 25.6 points, 8.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists.
Luka Doncic speaks on the Lakers’ 3rd quarter woes
In the first half, Luka Doncic and the Lakers forced 12 turnovers. Things were going well, but the team wasn’t consistent in their performance and had some defensive lapses in the third quarter. After the game, Doncic addressed that the team needs to work on being a consistent defensive team.
“I think we did a very good job in the first half, then we kinda relaxed in the third one again, just like in Dallas,” Doncic said. “Now, we gotta work on our third quarters. Overall, great game for everybody.”
