The league has been taken over by international players, with the last seven season MVP awards being won by a non-American. Luka Doncic is among those predicted to win it next season but for Paul George, he will not only reap major individual awards. He might become the best ever among non-American players.

Speaking in his podcast, the Philadelphia 76ers forward gave his flowers to the Los Angeles Lakers star for his sensational showing in EuroBasket as the main guy for Slovenia.
“We’re talking about being the biggest international player now,” George said on Podcast P.
“That’s surpassing GOATs, you know what I mean? That’s surpassing Dirk, that’s surpassing Tony Parker, that’s surpassing Hakeem. He’s got a chance to be the biggest international guy.”

PG said he might also surpass Greece’s Giannis Antetokounmpo.
“Surpassing Giannis, in a way. He’s got a chance to be one of the best to ever do it. His game is just way older than what he is. He’s tough, man. He’s a problem. Big fan of Luka. And he talks that sh*t too. He’s a child killer.”
Luka Doncic’s current star status
George’s statement might irk some fans as currently, Nikola Jokic of Denver Nuggets is viewed as the best international player with his three season MVP.
He and Giannis are neck-to-neck given their NBA accolades. As for Doncic, he still has a long way to go but he is still young at 26 years old.

He already has five All-NBA First Team in seven years in the league. The only exception was when he got injured. He also made it to the All-Star five times.
Next season is going to be huge for him as he gets acclimated with his new team after a shocking trade done by Dallas Mavericks. He is expected to be a frontrunner for the MVP award and what he displayed in the EuroBasket shows he is ready to the league by storm.
