The Memphis Grizzlies suffered a 133-120 loss against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden last night, and the score doesn’t exactly reflect the blowout nature of the contest. New York led by as much as 28 points after a dominant start before Memphis cut the lead to 13 in the final period.

The Memphis Grizzlies were on the back foot due to their sloppiness with the ball in the first half, particularly from their point guard, Ja Morant, who took accountability for his performance after the game. Morant was on the bench when the team tried to make a late comeback.
“It hurt me a lot, coming in at halftime and realizing how many turnovers I have. Obviously, some of them, making a better pass while delivering the ball. Some of them were (unexplainable),” Morant explained via Grind City Media.

“Others were just driving in too much into no man’s land. So I just have to be better when the defense collapses to kick it to my teammates. Once we were able to pretty much start taking care of the ball and we get our defense set, then we started rallying back, so you see how much of an impact that has,” he added.
Memphis Grizzlies News: Tuomas Iisalo provides important Zach Edey update
The Memphis Grizzlies have been without Zach Edey this season, as an ankle injury has sidelined the towering center. During a recent interview, head coach Tuomas Iisalo said that Edey is looking “spry” lately.

“Getting positive feedback,” Iisalo said via Michael Wallace. “I have also seen some of those workouts myself, the live group play. (Edey) looks very spry. He is moving well. He has improved his movement skills.”
“Obviously, he is not yet 100% or else he would be playing. He is getting there, making great progress. That is a testament to our medical team and Zach’s commitment, which has been really high-level throughout this whole process,” he added.
