    Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies did not have an impressive performance last season, and finished the year with an overall 27-55 record. The Grizzlies did not make it to the playoffs, with Ja Morant remaining absent for a majority of the season. Memphis was ridden with injuries, with important players like Desmond Bane and Steven Adams missing key games. The Memphis Grizzlies are coming here after finishing their preseason losing to the Heat with 114-109.

Ja Morant: 25.1 PPG 5.6 RPG 8.1 APG 0.8 SPG

    Utah Jazz

The previous season was not so different for the Utah Jazz from the one before that. Utah finished last year with an overall 31-51 record, and were 12th in the Western Conference. After starting off on a high note, the Jazz went on to disappoint fans in later games. Keyonte George was an important player for the team, making his debut as guard. The Utah Jazz finished their preseason losing to the Portland Trail Blazers with 124-86.

    Players to watch:

Lauri Markkanen: 23.2 PPG 8.2 RPG 2.0 APG 0.9 SPG
