The Miami Heat are fresh from a 106-89 win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, as Jimmy Butler led the way in their comeback victory.

Jimmy Butler notched 30 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists on 8-for-12 shooting from the field and 13-for-13 shooting from the free-throw line to help the Miami Heat erase a 19-point deficit and improve to a 6-7 record.

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, on the receiving end of the defeat, spoke highly of his former teammate during a postgame media session because of his positive impact on the court for Miami.

“Jimmy does everything. He’s going fast on the ball, commanding while being on the floor. Both sides of the floor. One of the best players in the league. Probably top five. Probably the best actually. Best player in the league. So, you gotta, you know, it’s hard to guard,” Embiid said via Brady Hawk on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“And I thought he did a good job of, you know, like I said, just finding a way to either score or make a play for the teammates and they did knock down shots in those positions. So, like I said, amazing basketball player,” he concluded.

Jimmy Butler hypes Miami Heat fans with three-word Instagram post

Jimmy Butler’s return against the Philadelphia 76ers was a sight for sore eyes for Miami Heat supporters. The six-time NBA All-Star was absent in the past four games due to a sprained right ankle.

After the game, Butler posted on his Instagram with the caption: “back at it,” which means he’s locked in to lead the Miami Heat again.

Butler’s post has more than 78,000 likes and 300 comments as of this writing.
