Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has been the subject of various trade rumors in the past few days, and the two-time league MVP recently reiterated his desire to stay with the team for the rest of his NBA career.
During his recent exclusive interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Antetokounmpo pushed back on the skeptics who questioned his love for the Milwaukee Bucks. The 31-year-old also made it clear that he wants to win at least one more NBA championship with the team while he is still in his prime.
“So people have the audacity to come tell me and say,’ this guy really doesn’t love Milwaukee.’ I don’t love Milwaukee? The people of the city know how much I love them. This city has let me be myself, let me be a father, have let me (be) a husband, have let me be my own true self,” Antetokounmpo stated.
“I’m walking in the street, people don’t bother me. But there’s gonna be the whole other people, because here’s 8 billion people in this world that have their own opinion. Opinions are cheap, that’s why everybody has one,” he added.

Milwaukee Bucks News: Kyle Kuzma and Ryan Rollins lead team to important win vs. Chicago Bulls
The Milwaukee Bucks secured a 131-115 home win against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night to snap their five-game losing streak, despite not having Giannis Antetokounmpo in the lineup.
Kyle Kuzma scored a season-high 31 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists on 12-for-22 shooting, while Ryan Rollins, AJ Green, Myles Turner, Pete Nance, and Gary Trent Jr. added 21, 17, 15, and 15 points.
“Losing is never fun,” Rollins said postgame. “You’re always trying to just keep it going. Especially a loss like that (in Boston where they scored a season-low 79 points), just get past it and keep moving forward and get the next game, which we did. We really don’t worry about it too much but we came out here and got a win and got a win today, so that’s all that matters for real.”
