Few among the thousands of Milwaukee Bucks fans have any solid faith that their team would pull off a miracle upset against the Indiana Pacers after the latter have taken a 3-1 lead that seems impossible to come back from.
The final score wasn’t the only bitter thing Bucks fans had to deal with; Damian Lillard’s situation threw a wrench into Milwaukee’s playoff hopes. Dame Time’s Achilles injury secured the end of the Bucks’ postseason journey, as there was no way they could take down a deep Pacers roster with their current roster.

With Lillard out of the playoffs, the Bucks will likely make a first-round exit. Such a scenario is unfavorable for the Bucks because it opens the door for an uncomfortable conversation that none of the people in the Bucks organization want to discuss.
Will Giannis Antetokounmpo leave the Milwaukee Bucks for contenders in the offseason?

Giannis leaving the Bucks for another team has been a narrative that has hounded Bucks fans throughout the season. While the team’s midseason performances have quieted these rumors, Milwaukee’s impending postseason exit puts plenty of pressure on the Bucks to possibly find a trade partner if Giannis wants out of the team.
DraftKings Network’s Keagan Smith discussed possible destinations for Giannis if he does leave Wisconsin for another team. The Oklahoma City Thunder, New York Knicks, and Houston Rockets are among the teams who could make a move for the Greek Freak in the offseason.
The 30-year-old’s performance this season makes the desire to acquire Giannis for their team a no-brainer. He averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists through 67 games this season. The fact that he achieved this despite having one of the shoddiest ranges among the league’s biggest stars emphasizes how valuable Giannis would be for a squad that needs that little push to make them into title favorites.

Of course, Giannis leaving means that the Bucks would have to blow up their roster and rebuild through the draft. Such a rebuild was bound to happen even if Antetokounmpo stays in Wisconsin.
