One of the highlights of the NBA season is the unexpected beef between former Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley and former Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young. Both stars have called each other out to play a potential one-on-one game. However, no player has been willing to go out of their way to schedule a game and face the other.
Recently, a video of Young was posted on the Big3’s X account. He took the chance to call out Beverley for a chance to play a one-on-one. The 2018 NBA champion said that the defensive guard cannot handle his on-court talent.
“Tell Pat Bev to pull up,” Young said. “Tell him to holler at me when he comes to LA. I really want that 1-on-1. I’ll give him all the smoke, all the attention he wants.”

The video caught the attention of the fans, who have been monitoring their beef. It also reached Beverley, who responded on X.
“No he does not. he knows. i will destroy this man. I Live in LA ❤️Luv Gang❤️” the former Milwaukee Bucks guard clapped back.

Young has been out of the league since 2018, while Beverley last played in 2024 for the Bucks. The 6-foot-1 guard has a more recent experience playing competitively since he also played for Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel for the 2024-25 season.
Over the weekend, Beverley also said that he’s in LA, near Young’s location. However, he hasn’t reached out to him for a potential game.
“I don’t see none of their a** and I’m in LA bro,”Beverley said.

“Now you feel my energy. I posted my location purposely so someone from their team can see that I’m in LA, I can pull up tp studio or we don’t have to do studio, we can just meet in the gym.”
The former Milwaukee Bucks guard enumerates the best starting point guards in the East

In the coming season, there are a lot of guards who fans should look forward to. With the movement around the NBA, people are looking forward to who the best players will emerge in the 2024-25 season. Former Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley explored who he thinks are the best starting point guards next season.
Beverley ranked the top five starting guards in the Eastern Conference.
“You gotta put [Darius] Garland on there, (he) has to get a ton of love,” Beverley said. “Gotta count Cade [Cunningham]. You gotta count Trae [Young].”
Beverley didn’t finish his list since he and Rone argued when Tyrese Maxey’s name was brought up.
