ESPN insider Shams Charania strongly believes that Giannis Antetokounmpo is still evaluating his future with the Milwaukee Bucks, and the team’s ability to compete at a high level will prove to be the biggest factor.

“Sources tell me there’s still nothing set in stone about whether Giannis Antetokounmpo will stay in Milwaukee or whether he will be leaving. And so, he’s continuing to evaluate his future,” Charania said on Get Up. “I reported it in mid-May that he’s evaluating whether his best fit is in Milwaukee or is it elsewhere. And that process is continuing. There’s been some very real conversations over the last week or so.”
“The constant question that Giannis has, though, is, can I win a championship with this roster? He wants to win a second championship,” he continued. “So he’s asking that question over and over. There are multiple teams waiting in the wings, potentially, if Giannis this offseason still makes that decision.”

The Milwaukee Bucks have been busy this offseason strengthening Antetokounmpo’s supporting cast, adding Myles Turner, Cole Anthony, and Gary Harris while re-signing Bobby Portis, Taurean Prince, Gary Trent Jr., and Ryan Rollins to new contracts.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Giannis Antetokounmpo drops hint about future with the team
Giannis Antetokounmpo recently attended the National Sports Collectors Convention in Rosemont, Illinois, where he signed autographs and publicly stated his loyalty to the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to Van Fayaz of SB Nation, Antetokounmpo was asked about shortening his autograph from his full name to simply signing “GA 34.” And when he explained his decision, one fan in the crowd interjected, “All in Milwaukee!” and the Milwaukee Bucks star repeated what he said with a wink, much to the delight of the crowd.
Despite the incessant trade rumors, Antetokounmpo has said several times that he’s inclined to stay put with the Milwaukee Bucks.
