The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a 129-126 upset loss against the Washington Wizards, and Myles Turner pointed to the similar issues that have haunted them during their ongoing slump.

The Washington Wizards outshot the Milwaukee Bucks 102-84, grabbed 14 offensive rebounds for 20 second-chance points, and had 17 points off 17 turnovers. Milwaukee has now lost eight of its last nine games.
“There’s no real way to break it down. It’s disappointing, it’s frustrating, and honestly, it’s just something that has to get fixed. Thankfully, it’s the earlier part of the season, so this is where you do take the time to make your adjustments and whatnot, but it just comes down to execution on both ends of the floor,” Turner said via Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“We turn over the ball too much. We’re fouling. So we really don’t have transitions or quick offense. We kind of have to play in a set most of the night. So I think just the 50-50, the effort plays, going on the ground, the offensive rebounding. We’re getting killed on the offensive rebounding. That’s how the majority of the teams are getting more possessions,” Kevin Porter Jr. added.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t speak with the media after losing to the Washington Wizards
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 26 points, seven rebounds, and four assists on 10-for-17 shooting from the field. However, the Milwaukee Bucks star was fouled out of the game with 5.4 seconds left, after Bilal Coulibaly dunked in transition to ice the game.

The Washington Wizards were aggressive in making life difficult for Antetokounmpo, and the Milwaukee Bucks forward recorded five turnovers, including a pair of offensive fouls and a travelling violation with Khris Middleton as his defender.
“Giannis has seen everything, literally everything, so I think he handles it pretty well,” head coach Doc Rivers said. “The five turnovers is probably what he would like back. But other than that he played pretty well.”
