Shams Charania unsurprisingly won the Reporter of the Year award during the first annual “Believe That Awards” hosted by Anthony Edwards, and the Minnesota Timberwolves star had jokes for the ESPN insider.

During the awarding, Charania recalled breaking the surprising Luka Doncic trade last February, admitting that his hands were “shaking” because he thought he couldn’t believe it happened.
“I remember I got the first text at like 11:05 p.m. Central, Chicago time. I’m chilling, and I tweeted out seven minutes later. So between those seven minutes, my hands were shaking because you just know the ramifications that it has,” Charania explained.

“If I’m going to get traded, you better f***ing text me,” Edwards interrupted. “Don’t leak that motherf***er on Twitter or X, man. Send me a message. Let me know.”
Minnesota Timberwolves News: Anthony Edwards calls out Charles Barkley after saying he “regressed” last season
In the same show, Anthony Edwards admitted that he had lost respect for Charles Barkley, as the former Phoenix Suns forward claimed that the Minnesota Timberwolves swingman “regressed” last season.

Edwards and his crew believe this doesn’t make sense because the Minnesota Timberwolves star led the NBA in three-pointers made with 320, while guiding the team to its second consecutive Western Conference Finals appearance.
“Charles Barkley, you a GOAT. I had so much respect for you. I still got a lot of respect, but it came down. I shot 40% from three,” Edwards said.
