The Minnesota Timberwolves are having a resurgence in the NBA, as the franchise just reached the Western Conference finals for the first time in two decades, thanks in large part to no Anthony Edwards.
Jason Williams makes surprising comparison for Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards

The high-leaping Edwards is a star on the rise and he’s still just 22 years old. In the eyes of former NBA point guard Jason Williams, Edwards is comparable to former Orlando Magic scoring machine Tracy McGrady.
“I see a lot of T-Mac in Ant-Man, it looks so easy to these dudes like it’s almost like the normal person is like they’re not even trying like just think how good they could be if they really tried. That’s what I think a lot of people think about T-Mac, Williams said during a recent appearance on The OGs Show.

McGrady was a walking bucket during his prime and he could get points from almost anywhere on the court. He was so hard to stop because of his length, range, and superior athleticism. Edwards is smaller than McGrady, but Williams can see the essential qualities of T-Mac in him.
“He made me get that credit. I mean he was so good bro. So easy to make. Ant-Man is like a little more like twitchy, more like bouncy even though T-Mac had bounce but more explosive you know what I’m saying? I think maybe in T-Mac but I see a lot of similarities there. I think T-Mac is better than Ant-Man. Let’s don’t get it twisted. He’s got a long way to go before he passes T-Mac but he’s got a real good chance too.”
In the 2023-24 NBA season, Edwards averaged 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game while shooting 46.1 percent from the field.
