Just recently, Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns were on opposing ends of the court as the Minnesota Timberwolves faced the New York Knicks in a preseason game. After the match, NBA fans were buzzing because of the guard’s message to his former teammate.

Edwards recently sparked excitement among New York Knicks fans with his comments following a preseason game. After an impressive performance where he scored 31 points against the Knicks, Edwards engaged in a light-hearted exchange while handing his jersey to former teammate Karl-Anthony Towns.

A fan then shouted about Edwards potentially joining the Knicks once his contract is up, to which he responded positively, saying he would love to reunite with Towns. This exchange has fueled speculation about Edwards’ future and his interest in playing for New York.

Despite the buzz, Edwards remains focused on the upcoming NBA season, showcasing his dedication to the Timberwolves. He’s had a standout preseason, logging significant minutes and contributing both offensively and defensively, which bodes well for his performance in the regular season.

“If Ant leaves Minnesota it aint gonna be to play with the Big Purr,” Kingfino said.

“ANT IN MSG?! PEAK BASKETBALL,” Lonzo Muse tweeted.

“Knicks aren’t trading Brunson for Ant,” SpidaVerse mentioned.

“Ant really loves Kat,” Cuffee posted.

“Now this would be a good NBA Finals match up! Shame the Heat are gonna stop the Knicks this year,” Greg Solon shared.

“That’s the leadership he was talking about,” zadchris joked.

“You know he’s leaving that boring city,” The Lock$mith reacted.

“He can join Bridges and the rest of the soft crew. The Manhattan Charmin’s,” ALCoyote remarked.

The Timberwolves are looking to build on their success after reaching the Conference Finals last season. Edwards’ explosive play and leadership will be crucial as they aim for a deeper playoff run. Meanwhile, Towns is gearing up for his first full season with the Knicks, having made a significant impact since joining the team. His experience will be vital for New York as they seek to improve on last year’s performance.
