Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards led the team to their sixth win this season against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, with a final score of 127-102. Edwards and the Wolves did not hold back against the Blazers as he registered 35 points.
Edwards made 15 attempts from beyond the arc, demonstrating his impressive performance. Out of three attempts, the Wolves star made nine. The two-time All-Star has made more long-range attempts this season, averaging 11.1 attempts.

The Wolves star is averaging his best efficiency from three, making 46.1% of his shots. Following their game against Portland, Edwards highlighted the many open looks he had in the game and addressed the defensive strategy the Blazers used against him.
“Mike [Conley] be trying to tell me [to] get downhill, I’m like, ‘Bro, they going under’,” Edwards said. “I work on my game too much to try to force one downhill if they keep going under. I’mma keep shooting that.”
“I really be surprised at this point. I made two threes the first quarter today and in the third, they just — I made one and they kept going under. I’m like, ‘Alright, I’mma keep shooting this b****’ I don’t know what they doing, but I’mma keep shooting it.””I really be surprised at this point.
