Kyle Singler posted another disturbing video to social media that has the basketball community deeply concerned.
The former Duke star and NBA forward made alarming allegations about child abuse and homelessness. He looked visibly distraught and disheveled in the clip, and his serious claims escalated concerns that have been active since he first shared cryptic videos, fearing for his life.
Former NBA Player Kyle Singler Calls Out ‘Cursed’ People in His Life
Singler appeared absolutely tense in the only video that is available right now on his Instagram account. He spoke directly to the camera, making shocking accusations against cursed people close to him, and allegedly said that his child has now been exploited.
“I don’t feel safe,” Singler said in the video. “I’ve got people in my life taking my money.”
The former Detroit Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder forward continued with increasingly disturbing claims.
“This is a message to everybody in my life who has been messing with me,” he stated. “My child is being sexually, physically, emotionally, spiritually abused.”
He then called out specific institutions and communities by name. His frustration boiled over into profanity-laced accusations.
“Shame on everybody that knows me that’s not helping, not intervening. F**k y’all. Duke, Medford, everybody.”
The 37-year-old directly criticized his alma mater, Duke University, and also blasted his hometown of Medford, Oregon. He made additional claims about his current living situation, confirming he’s currently without stable housing.
“I have people in my life f—-ing me, and nobody’s there,” he explained. “I’m on my own, homeless, and people are just feeding off me. My child has been a weapon against me.”
However, one can hardly assume the location because he held his phone in a way so that people could see nothing without his face and the blue sky over his head.
He defended his choices despite the criticism he anticipated receiving, stating, “I’m not apologetic for living my life out of love, being there for people I want to be around. I have been taken advantage of every single step of the way, and now I’m talking. Y’all talk s—, and now I’m talking s—-.”
This clip, dropped nearly 23 hours before, marks the latest concerning chapter in Singler’s downward spiral. He first led to widespread alarm in November 2024 with similar Instagram posts where the shirtless ex-NBA star claimed to be “mistreated and abused, neglected, and made into a mental example.”
Fast forward to January 2026. His latest video suggests his situation hasn’t improved a bit, but the new allegations about child abuse add another deeply concerning layer.
Authorities need to step in before the situation escalates. Singler is clearly facing serious mental health challenges that require immediate professional help. His child’s safety also needs urgent attention, given the allegations he has made.
