NBA Fans went crazy on Monday after X/Twitter page @NBAMemes shared an AI-enhanced photo of SA Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama in a stronger, more buffed bod. While Fans still hope that Wemby does achieve that massive look, they soon found themselves making light of it.
One user, @RealEasyE1111, went a step further and compared Wemby’s stylized image to a famous UFC star, writing, “He looks like Alistair Overeem.” However, since only a few NBA Fans knew of Overeem, user @ahejasjn justresponded with, “absolutely elite ball knowledge.”

Wemby’s stylized image really fueled the comparison, with some NBA Fans saying the look just made the resemblance between The Alien and Overeem, both looks and body, even harder to ignore.
However, the NBA Fans didn’t stop there. User @EliLanger just reposted the same photo and hilariously wrote, “The original,” which obviously drew lots of laughter from the Fans. User @Ka9ine1 responded to this with, “yall n*g*** are hell man [laugh emoji].”
“i think it’s cause he does low weight high reps,” one user wrote.
“Looks like someone’s been hanging out in the city sewers. Ha,” one user commented, hilariously comparing Wemby’s edited bod to a famous cartoon, Ninja Turtles.
“It’d be game over for the whole league if he did [laugh emoji],” one user wrote.
“Dude hit the Gatorade Facility and unlocked new body types,” one user remarked.
Despite the NBA Fans clearly finding this stylized Wemby image very funny, there’s no serious need for some to be concerned about the Spurs big man’s real body at all. After all, Wembanyama spent the entire offseason focused on that exact goal, and it is now paying off a ton, with the Spurs leading the league in both defense and offense, propelling them into one of the league’s best teams so far.
NBA Fans see how Wemby’s possible look can change the league
On the other hand, NBA Fans couldn’t help but really think just how effective a Wemby with a bodybuilder physique would be on the court.
User @SteezType quickly went straight to the point, commenting, “Can u imagine tho, this would be the best player imaginable.”
Meanwhile, user @chaxaurax even compared The Alien to NBA legends, writing, “He would be better then Kareem MJ, LeBron and Kobe hands down.”
While NBA Fans see a more muscular Wembanyama dominating the court, especially in the paint, others don’t buy it. Those Fans raised how Wemby building more muscle could derail his career through devastating injuries, a possibility many couldn’t even imagine.
