NBA fans are reacting to Anthony Davis getting interest from plenty of teams as the Mavs position themselves to trade out the player. According to NBA insider, Shams Charania, Davis has piqued the interest of the Pistons, the Hawks and even the Raptors as trade rumors swirl around. Fans have been cracking jokes on just how well the baller will acclimatize to these new teams, especially after his stint with Dallas did not go as well as he thought it would.

“Dallas Mavericks forward Anthony Davis, another former NBA champion, is expected to be a critical trade target of several teams, including many of the East’s contenders. The Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks and Toronto Raptors are expected to be suitors for Davis, league sources told ESPN.” Shams Charania wrote.

“Anthony Davis heard Motor City and thought they said MRI City,” one fan joked.

“PLEASE keep him AWAY from the Pistons,” another fan begged.

“Detroit should stay away from AD. Lauri makes a lot more sense.” One more fan hypothesized.

AD has been getting plenty of hate from fans, especially since the hooper has been on the injured list more than the actual court. As a result of this string of injuries that the player has experienced this last year or so, many fans are skeptical about their respective teams bringing home AD.

NBA Fans Feel AD Might Actually Contribute Well To Any Team

Meanwhile, many NBA fans are actually excited at the prospect of Anthony Davis joining any of the three teams which are showing interest in him. Davis is no doubt a super-talented guy and definitely has a lot more basketball left in him.

“Cade. Duren. AD. Could this Big 3 take over the league? (seeing emoji).” One fan said.

“He’s injury prone but for the Hawks purposes we only need him in a series vs the Pistons if we get there in a playoff run. As a team that’s never won a conference championship, going all in on AD isn’t something slam as a bad idea as high of a gamble it is.” One fan reasoned.

“Detroit or Atlanta would be insane fits for AD right now. Cade + AD or Trae + AD both sound like immediate 50-win teams. Toronto being in the mix tells you how much Scottie’s value has climbed this year.” another fan echoed.

Anthony Davis might not have had much luck with the Mavs, but the team on a whole is in shambles right now. Many fans hope that AD will up his performance once he enters a better-organized team.
