NBA Fans were a bit confused when Anthony Edwards gave his take on two of his fellow All-Stars, Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic. Before the USA vs World match, Edwards slightly digged at both Doncic and Jokic, saying, “No shade… but like they two of the best players in the league they not tryna play in the All Star game.”
Edwards’ statement didn’t had a good impression on the NBA Fans, who they believed just literally threw shade at Doncic and Jokic. User @Kyler7333355648 just wrote,” ‘No shade,’ throws shade [skull emojis].”
Meanwhile, user @mikeyy1000 was a bit relieved that both players finally receive criticism, posting, “The white ball players finally getting criticized don’t run now.”
The NBA has clearly evolved over the past seasons, and so are the NBA Fans’ favorites. Right now, Doncic and Jokic fill up the role as the best white players out there. On the other hand, Edwards is also dominating the court on his own. But it doesn’t just end there; after all, he is also a master in no holds barred statements.

Edwards’ recent jab gained traction among the NBA Fans, who quickly gave insights on the matter.
“Ant said what every fan was thinking but no player had the guts to say out loud,” one user wrote.
“Classic Anthony Edwards! Talks crazy then backs it up,” one user remarked.
“Gotta play with honor man. Ant understands it. [salute emoji],” one user posted.
“Ant basically saying, ‘Y’all too busy being great to hang with me?'” one user wrote.
Whether Doncic or Jokic responds to Edwards’ heated statement, NBA Fans understand that this is just the beginning for the Ant-Man. If both European stars gets their flowers for being one of the best out there, then Edwards is just gonna make sure he challenges that title soon.

NBA Fans throw jabs on Edwards amidst controversial take
While Edwards has clearly made hype weighing into Doncic and Jokic’s participation at the All-Star Weekend, some NBA Fans feel that Edwards hadn’t really understood the situation at all.
User @LukaToBron went to defend Doncic, who was injured in his past four games heading to the Games. The user wrote, “Can’t be bothered to… observe that Luka has a real injury that kept him out of the last 4 games, what does he even do in his free time??”
Meanwhile, user @TDs_And_TipOffs also didn’t like Edwards’ words, asking, “Jokic been playing for a few games, but ain’t Luka and Shai both currently hurt anyways?”

The hype is clear for Edwards, and NBA Fans will do anything to shut that out immediately.
